Gear list

-Please read list carefully-

Legally owned firearm

Semi-automatic pistol or rifle depending on class.  If you're not sure if your firearm is compatible, please contact us.

Holster

Your holster should be specifically designed to fit your firearm. We ask the students to have a holster because it is a safe place to have your firearm while on the range receiving instruction. A sturdy belt will greatly improve the function of the holster. Absolutely no leather, nylon, or serpa style holsters. Feel free to contact with any questions.

Magazines and ammunition

We ask students to have a minimum of two mags per firearm. These are commonly misnamed but referred to as "clips". Ammo is not provided and the amount will be listed with the specific class.

Magazines holder

Just like your firearms holster, you will need magazine pouches. These are commonly belt mounted and come in single and double configurations.

Range appropriate attire

Close toe'd shoes (no flip flops), and clothing that fits properly. Loose and baggy clothing can cause safety concerns. Low cut tops are discouraged due to hot brass.

Eye and ear protection

Sunglasses or safety glasses are great, prescription eyewear is also sufficient.  Electronic ear muffs are highly recommended. Foam ear plugs will work but become cumbersome to take in and out constantly through the course of instruction.

Water / snacks/ lunch/ sunblock

The range is not near any convenience stores so please prepare and bring what you will need. There will be breaks and or lunch depending on the curriculum and sometimes its very warm. Bring plenty of water! In the summer months, feel free to bring a shade canopy if you wish. One will always be provided but more helps!

Folding chair

Bring something to sit down and take a load off. Tailgates and coolers are great, but the shade under the easy-up is best.

Rifle class

You will need to be able to reload your rifle from the belt, chest rig, or plate carrier. How you choose to do so is up to you.

Rifle Sling. This is a required piece of gear.
